He graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1983. He is a graphic artist and painter. He has had numerous solo exhibitions and has worked as a teacher, freelancer, manual laborer, animated cartoonist, and lifeguard. He achieved significant success with his book illustrations. In 1981, he traveled through Transylvania and the land of his ancestors, Bukovina. He repeated his journey to Bukovina a quarter of a century later, in 2006. He studies the living conditions of the Szeklers of the Lower Danube. In 1991, protesting against the war, he moved to Hungary with his family. Between 2009 and 2015, he was a part-time lecturer at the Premontre Vocational School in Zsámbék, and from 2015, at the Zsámbék St. John the Baptist Primary School, Grammar School, and Art School. Since 2017, he has been a teacher at the Budajeno Primary School.

His series of articles on fine artists from Vojvodina appears bi-weekly in the Üveggolyó cultural supplement of Magyar Szó.
