He completed primary and vocational secondary school (car mechanic trade) in Zrenjanin (1970). He was a student at the Department of Hungarian Language and Literature, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. From 1971 to 1972, he worked as a crane operator in Zrenjanin. Between 1977 and 1987, he was a journalist for Novi Sad Television. From 1987, he was a cartoonist for Magyar Szó, and from 1994, the editor of Grimasz. In 1989, together with librarian Péter Heinermann and publicist József Klemm, he established the Telepi Rádió political cabaret, and in 1998, its visual counterpart, LUK TV. He illustrated numerous books and had several solo and group exhibitions.
