Biography

He completed elementary school in his birthplace, teacher training college in Osijek in 1937, and the Teacher Training College in Novi Sad in 1949. He obtained a history teacher's diploma from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade in 1954. He worked as a teacher in Senta between 1939 and 1945, in Čantavir from 1945 to 1948, and in Ada in 1948 and 1949. From 1949, he was a teacher at the Subotica Teacher Training College and gymnasium. Between 1969 and 1973, he served as the director of the Pedagogical Academy. From 1973 until his retirement in 1976, he was the director of the Historical Archives.
