Born in 1946 in Torontáltorda, a village in Banat. He completed high school in Zrenjanin, then obtained a degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad and a Master's degree in international law. From September 1991 until December 31, 2016, he worked as an independent lawyer in Novi Sad.
