Bozóki Antal
Biography
Born in 1946 in Torontáltorda, a village in Banat. He completed high school in Zrenjanin, then obtained a degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad and a Master's degree in international law. He passed the bar and judicial examination in 1982, and his appointment as a court translator for the Hungarian language dates back to October 1991. He earned his Master's degree in 1985, with his thesis titled: The Democratization of the Foreign Policy of the SFRY. Between 1969 and 1982, he worked as an intern and associate. From 1982, for three years, he served as the secretary of the foreign affairs committee of the Provincial Executive Council (TVT), and subsequently until 1989, he was a member of the Executive Committee of the City of Novi Sad, and secretary for public administration and justice. In 1990, he again became a member of the TVT, and in 1990 and 1991, he was the CEO of Forum Publishing House. From September 1991 until December 31, 2016, he worked as an independent lawyer in Novi Sad.
He is the founder of the weekly newspapers Heti Újság and Családi Kör. He has published several books and collections of texts in the fields of international law and law, human and national minority rights, and environmental protection.
