He completed primary school in Nagybecskerek and the Piarist grammar school (1995) in Kecskemét. In 2000, he graduated from Eötvös Loránd University with a degree in Hungarian language and literature. In 2008, he earned a PhD in Budapest (The Spirit in the Machine – Hypertext). From 1997 to 1998, he was the editor-in-chief of the cultural journal Tiszavirág, and from 2000 to 2001, an editor at Vigilia. Between 2001 and 2004, he was a PhD scholarship holder and lecturer at the Institute of Hungarian Literary History at Eötvös Loránd University. From 2004 to 2007, he was a visiting professor and lector at the Department of Hungarian Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. From 2008, he was an associate professor at the Department of Communication and Media Studies at Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences. He is the dean and head of department, associate professor at the Department of Educational Innovation at Eszterházy Károly University.
