He completed primary school in Székelykeve and high school in Pančevo in 1978. He graduated from the International Studies Department of the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade in 1986. Between 1987 and 1992, he was a foreign policy journalist for Novi Sad Television. From 1992, he became the editor of literary programs for Novi Sad Radio, including Rádióregény (Radio Novel), Új könyv, új írás (New Book, New Writing), Irodalmi kistükör (Literary Small Mirror), Könyvek, írók, emberek (Books, Writers, People), and Szempont (Viewpoint). His poems were featured in the anthology Teleírt világ (World Full of Writing).
