Rózsa Jódal's book reviews have been broadcast fortnightly on Radio Novi Sad's program "Szempont" since December 2014. The list of approximately two hundred and fifty publications she selected, read, and presented comprises a very broad selection. (...) However, we have chosen about sixty of her reviews for this volume, focusing on works published by Vojvodina-based publishers, predominantly by authors living here, with one or two exceptions. These reviews/introductions are arranged chronologically in the volume, from 2014 to 2023, based on their broadcast date.

The "professional" reader, herself an acclaimed writer, strives to identify what is characteristic of a given book, unique to a specific author, what makes their works special, recognizable, and individual. She highlights values but also shares her observations, not concealing if something did not quite appeal to her, as this is also the critic's task. She endeavors to track and register the worldview, perspective, and new trends of the youngest generation of poets and writers. And – for those familiar with her career, it is clear why – she dedicates special attention to works intended for children and about children.
