He completed primary school in Mužlja and high school in Zrenjanin (1981). In 1990, he graduated from the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad. In 1993, he obtained a master's degree in political science in Belgrade. In 2011, he received his doctorate in political science in Belgrade (The Identity of Vojvodina Hungarians and Cultural Policy). From 1986 to 1990, he was a high school teacher in Novi Sad and Zrenjanin. Between 1996 and 2009, he served as an advisor at the Provincial Secretariat for Minority Affairs. From 2009 to 2011, he was Deputy Secretary at the Provincial Secretariat for Social Policy and Demography. From 2011, he has been an advisor at the Provincial Secretariat for Education.
