He completed elementary school in Paraćin and Kula, high school in Subotica (1944), and electrical engineering vocational school (1948) in Zrenjanin. From 1950 to 1951, he was a staff member of Ifjúság Szava. Between 1951 and 1957, he worked as a foreign policy editor at Radio Novi Sad. From 1959 to 1968, he was an editor and deputy editor-in-chief at Forum Publishing House. Between 1968 and 1975, he served as deputy editor-in-chief of Képes Ifjúság. From 1975 to 1988, he was the editor of official publications (Küldöttek Híradója) at Magyar Szó. During his publishing career, he primarily translated from Hungarian to Serbian and from Serbian to Hungarian, and coordinated the publication of bilingual volumes.
