Biography

He studied at the Textile Industry Secondary School in Leskovac. After 1945, he was a prize-winning correspondent for Radio Novi Sad in Zrenjanin, and a translator for the Bratstvo-Jedinstvo Publishing House. From the mid-1950s, he was a journalist for Radio Novi Sad, a dramaturg for Radio Theatre, and an editor and proofreader for School Radio. He was one of the founders and, from 1970 to 1979, the secretary-general of the Association for Hungarian Language Cultivation in Yugoslavia. Between 1970 and 1979, he was the editor of the supplement titled Nyelvművelő, published in Magyar Szó.
