Description: Red pleated (plissé) women's skirt, with black stripes and a small yellow rhomboid pattern. Snap closure, the waistband is tailored, with button and elastic closure. The material is moth-eaten in several places. It is patched and repaired in several places on the reverse side. It belonged to the donor's mother, who was born in 1895. It is assembled and pleated by hand, the snaps are sewn on by hand, and the hem is hand-stitched, then machine-stitched afterwards. It was worn on festive occasions.
